Over his 30 year career Chris has been an engineer, entrepreneur, executive, angel investor and advisor.

He has worked across a number of industries, but he has specific knowledge of Technology, Retail, Loyalty, Telco, Financial Services and Energy. Throughout his career he's learned a lot about building businesses, and teams. Chris has been on the founding team of two UK startups - the first, uSwitch, was acquired for over £200m, and the second, KidStart, is profitable with over 1m members and recently launched Beanstalk - a wealth management app. Chris also spent six years on the leadership team at Google Canada, where he was responsible for building and leading the Retail, Tech and Telco businesses where he grew revenue from $30m to $250m in six years. Chris also led a two-year turnaround of Computacenter France, a €400m IT company - transitioning the business from products to services and into profitability. Chris was also part of the executive team at RBC which built RBC Ventures - an internal corporate incubator - from concept to over 200 people in one year. While there, Chris was a member of RBC's Venture Review Board, RBC's Innovation Committee and RBC's Diversity & Inclusion Council.

Chris is a Growth Partner at Maverix, a Venture Partner at The Group Ventures and an Advisor at Next Canada, Loyal Ventures and Altitude Accelerator. He is also a Non-Executive Director at KidStart, and the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI). Lastly, Chris chaired the Advisory Committee of Juniper and served for 5 years on the personal Advisory Committee of one of Canada’s wealthiest families.

Chris has an MBA from INSEAD, in France, and an Engineering degree from Queen's University, in Canada and has lived, and worked, in 5 different countries.
